No Audio from SoundSend system

The HDMI Handshake Lock

If everything looks connected in the app, the puck has a solid light, and eARC is selected as the audio out on your TV but absolutely no sound comes out of any Lithe Audio speaker.

TVs and the SoundSend can suffer from bad "HDMI Handshakes" during power cycles. Fix it with a strict order of operations:

  1. Unplug the power and disconnect the HDMI cable from both the TV and the SoundSend.
  2. Turn your TV completely off at the wall, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
  3. Ensure the TV settings are firmly locked onto HDMI ARC/eARC output and the Digital Audio format is on Pass-Through (not PCM).
  4. With the SoundSend still completely powered off, plug the HDMI cable back into the TV's eARC port and the puck.
  5. Finally, plug the USB-C power cord back into the SoundSend. This forces a clean, fresh digital handshake.
