2-Year Guarantee
Lithe Audio products are constructed with the highest
quality materials and craftsmanship. However, should any defects in materials
or workmanship arise during the guarantee period, Lithe Audio will, at its
discretion, either repair or replace the defective parts free of charge,
subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
This guarantee provides additional benefits and does not
affect your statutory rights.
Terms and Conditions
- Scope
of Guarantee
- This
guarantee applies to products sold and used worldwide.
- The
guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship.
- The
guarantee excludes the cost of returning the product to the dealer or
Lithe Audio.
- Replacement
or repair of defective parts under this guarantee does not extend the
guarantee period.
- Exclusions
This guarantee does not cover:
- Liability
for or replacement of plugs, cables, or fuses.
- Defects
resulting from failure to use or maintain the product as per Lithe Audio
instructions.
- Connection
of the product to an unsuitable electricity supply.
- Accidental
damage, abuse, or misuse of the product.
- Modifications
not carried out by Lithe Audio or an authorised agent.
- Dismantling
or interference with the product by unauthorised persons.
- Costs
incurred from uninstalling and reinstalling the product.
- Periodic
maintenance and repair or parts replacement due to wear and tear.
- Damage
caused by neglect, accidents, fire, liquids, chemicals, flooding,
vibrations, excessive heat, improper ventilation, power surges, or other
external forces and impacts.
- Damage
or defects caused by use, operation, or treatment of the product
inconsistent with normal personal or domestic use.
- Damage
or changes to the product as a result of:
- Misuse,
including:
- Treatment
resulting in physical, cosmetic, or surface damage or changes to the
product.
- Failure
to install or use the product for its normal purpose or in accordance
with Lithe Audio instructions on installation or use.
- Failure
to maintain the product in accordance with Lithe Audio instructions on
proper maintenance.
- Installation
or use of the product in a manner inconsistent with the technical or
safety laws or standards in the country where it is installed or used.
- Virus
infections or use of the product with software not provided with the
product or incorrectly installed software.
- The
condition of or defects in systems with which the product is used or
incorporated, except for other Lithe Audio products designed to be used
with the product.
- Use
of the product with accessories, peripheral equipment, and other
products of a type, condition, and standard other than prescribed by
Lithe Audio.
- Repair
or attempted repair by persons who are not Lithe Audio or authorised
Lithe Audio distributors.
- Adjustments
or adaptations without Lithe Audio’s prior written consent, including:
- Upgrading
the product beyond specifications or features described in the
instruction manual.
- Modifications
to the product to conform it to national or local technical or safety
standards in countries other than those for which the product was
specifically designed and manufactured.
- Conditions
for Return Before returning any product under this guarantee, please
ensure:
- The
product instructions have been correctly followed.
- The
mains electricity supply is operational.
- The
defect is not due to a blown fuse.
- Procedure
for Claiming Under Guarantee
- Contact
the Lithe Audio support team for assistance with any issues before
initiating a return. If a return is required, the support team will
provide an RTN returns form, ensuring:
- All
goods to be returned are listed on the RTN form. Failure to do so may
result in delays or refusal of the return, Select the return type
(exchange, warranty, or refund) and follow the instructions within RTN.
- Ensure
the product is clean and securely packed, preferably in its original
packaging.
- Enclose
your name, address, telephone number, proof of purchase (e.g., invoice or
receipt), and details of the purchase date and location.
- Provide
a detailed description of the defect.
- Send the product, carriage or postage paid, to the dealer/authorised Lithe Audio distributor from whom it was purchased or directly to Lithe Audio (if instructed to do so).
- The cost of postage is the customer’s responsibility. It is recommended to use a service that insures the goods for their value and provides proof of postage. Lithe Audio cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
- Refunds
and exchanges will be processed within 7 days of receiving the returned
goods. Refunds will be paid via the original payment method. Original
postage costs will not be refunded and will be deducted from the refund
total. Returned goods must be in pristine, unused, and resaleable
condition to qualify for a refund.
- Limitations
- This
guarantee does not cover any claims whatsoever, including, without
limitation, any liability for incidental, indirect, or consequential
damages.
- It
excludes claims for conversion or modification or costs for repairs
carried out by third parties without prior consent from Lithe Audio.
- European
Economic Area (EEA) Specific Terms
- Guarantee
services will be provided only if the original invoice or sales receipt
(indicating the date of purchase, model name, and dealer's name) is
presented with the defective product within the guarantee period.
- Lithe
Audio and authorised distributors may refuse free-of-charge guarantee
service if these documents are not presented or are incomplete or
illegible.
- This
guarantee does not cover transport costs and risks associated with
transporting your product to and from Lithe Audio or authorised
distributors.
- The
guarantee covers only hardware components of the product and excludes
software or services unless explicitly mentioned.
Exclusions and Limitations
Except as stated above, Lithe Audio makes no guarantee
(express, implied, statutory or otherwise) regarding product or accompanying or
constituent software quality, performance, accuracy, reliability, fitness for a
particular purpose, or otherwise.
If this exclusion is not permitted or fully permitted by
applicable law, Lithe Audio excludes or limits its Guarantee only to the
maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Any warranty that cannot be fully
excluded will be limited (as far as permitted by applicable law) to the
duration of this Guarantee.
Lithe Audio’s only obligation under this Guarantee is to
repair or replace products subject to these Guarantee terms and conditions.
Lithe Audio is not liable for any loss or damage relating to
products, service, this Guarantee or otherwise, including:
- Economic
or intangible losses.
- The
price paid for the product.
- Loss
of profits, revenue, data, enjoyment, or use of the product or any
associated products.
- Indirect,
incidental, or consequential loss or damage.
This applies whether that loss or damage relates to:
- Impaired
or non-operation of the product or associated products through defects or
unavailability while with Lithe Audio or an Authorised Lithe Audio
distributor, which caused downtime, loss of user time, or business
interruption.
- Inaccuracy
of output from the product or associated products.
- Damage
to or loss of software programs or removable data storage media, or virus
infections and other causes.
This applies to loss and damages under any legal theory,
including negligence and other torts, breach of contract, express or implied
Guarantee, and strict liability (even where Lithe Audio or an Authorised Lithe
Audio distributor has been advised of the possibility of such damages).
Where applicable law prohibits or limits these liability
exclusions, Lithe Audio excludes or limits its liability only to the maximum
extent permitted by applicable law.
For example, some countries prohibit the exclusion or
limitation of damages resulting from negligence, gross negligence, wilful
misconduct, deceit, and similar acts.
Lithe Audio liability under this guarantee will in no case
exceed the price paid for the product, but if applicable law permits only
higher liability limitations, the higher limitations apply.
Important Notes
- Replacement
parts fitted to the product will not extend the guarantee period.

Your legal rights reserved
Consumers have legal (statutory) rights under applicable
national laws relating to the sale of consumer products. This guarantee does
not affect statutory rights you may have nor those rights that cannot be
excluded or limited, nor rights against the person from whom you purchased the
product. You may assert any rights you have at your sole discretion.
