IO1 Ports Explained- What can you connect?

In this article, it will walk you through what ports are available on the IO1 and what are the wired options available for the IO1. 


Speaker output (Right) - There are 2 terminals where you can connect a Passive speaker to play the right sound when set to Stereo. All that is require is to unscrew the 2 terminals anti clockwise and then you should see a hole at the bottom where you can feed the speaker cable into it and then screw back clockwise to keep it locked and secured in. 

If you just have the Master ACTIVE speaker, you do not need to use this terminal. 

Power input - Using the power cable provided, please connect it to this port to provide power to the speaker. (Ensure its firmly in place)

Connection Reset Button- In case you need to factory reset the speaker, if you press and hold this button for 10 seconds, it will reset your speaker. 

LED indicator - Provides the state your speaker is in.

Here is a list of the LED colours and their meanings; 
  1. Red solid: Speaker booting up
  2. Red slow flash (3s 1 time): Speaker under standby mode, waiting for user operation
  3. Green solid: Speaker is active and connected to Wi-Fi
  4. Green slow flash(1s 1 time): Speaker trying to connect to the preconfigured Wi-Fi
  5. Green quick flash(1s 4 times): Speaker in WAC/SAC mode, user to configure Wi-Fi
  6. Blue Solid When device is connected to Bluetooth.

Optical Input - If you desire to connect an external device like a TV which you cannot connect wirelessly, then you have the option of a hardwired input via Optical. (Control the volume by Lithe Audio App) 

Ethernet IN/OUT - This is a feature to hardwire data cable for a more stable and stronger data connection which you can also daisy chain in and out as required.
