Open the Lithe Audio BT5 APP, you have the option to activate or deactivate the Lithe Link function. This allows you to control a 4/6 speaker system, enabling you to turn off the second/third set of speakers, leaving only the primary master pair in operation.
How to setup the hardwired connections for Lithe Link
The Master speakers need to be hardwired together using the optical ports. To ensure the correct ports are selected here is a diagram showing the connections.
Please note: the diagram shows a 3 speaker setup but the same connections are used for a 2 speaker setup. Master A OUT to Master B IN.
1. Master A OUT to Master B IN
2. Master B OUT to Master C IN
Once the speakers are hardwired with optical cable as above, the audio will now play through all speakers. If the user wants to turn off the second/third set this can be done through the Lithe Audio BT5 APP.
How to control the Lithe Link within the APP
When selecting a speaker from the list, this is how they will perform when Lithe Link is turned OFF.
- Master A can never be turned off at this is the primary speaker.
- Master B select will turn off Master B and C
- Master C select will only turn off Master C
1. Open the APP and select Master B Note: this will not be the name of the speaker. This represents the speaker that needs to be selected to turn off Lithe Link.
2. Select Lithe Link.
3. Input the admin pin. The pin is required for protection so no unauthorized person can make changes.
4. The user will be able to see there is a connection between the masters (green box). When the toggle is turned OFF Master B/C will disconnect from Lithe Link and the Audio will only output from Master A. If Master C is selected and turned OFF C will stop playing and Master A/B will still play.
