How to Configure Wireless Grouping (Lithe-Sync / Auracast)

How to Configure Wireless Grouping (Lithe-Sync / Auracast)

If you have multiple BT8 active speakers installed throughout your home or commercial space, you can group them together wirelessly using the built-in Lithe-Sync / Auracast™ technology — with no additional speaker cabling required.

This allows multiple speakers to play the same audio simultaneously from a single Bluetooth source device.

Step-by-Step Wireless Grouping Setup

Step 1 – Choose Your Master Speaker

Select the main BT8 speaker that will receive the Bluetooth audio stream directly from your phone, tablet, or TV.

This speaker will act as the:

Master Speaker

Step 2 – Enable Master Mode

  1. Remove the magnetic grille from the chosen master speaker.
  2. Locate the Connection / Reset Button on the speaker chassis.
  3. Double-press the button quickly.

The speaker will now enter:

Master Mode

Step 3 – Add Slave Speakers

For each additional BT8 active speaker you want to include in the group:

  1. Go to the speaker.
  2. Press and hold the Connection Button for approximately 3 seconds.

This places the speaker into:

Slave Mode

Step 4 – Confirm the Connection

Once successfully connected:

  • The speaker will announce:

    “Slave connected”

  • The LED indicator will glow:

    Orange

Repeat the 3-second press process for any additional active speakers you want to add to the group.

Step 5 – Connect Your Bluetooth Device

On your phone, tablet, or other Bluetooth source device:

  1. Open the Bluetooth device list.
  2. Locate the speaker name ending in:

    _MASTER

Example:

  • LITHE AUDIO BT8_MASTER
  1. Connect to this device.
  2. Start playing your music or audio.

The audio will now broadcast wirelessly across all grouped speakers.
